The article highlights current issues of Kazakhstan's participation in the Regional Security Forum of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The key areas of the Forum's activities at each stage of its functioning are considered. The main attention ispaid to the peculiarities of the approaches of the member countries of the Association to the solution of regional security issues and the interaction of countries within the framework of the ARF.
