The research is divided into three sections. Following the introduction, the
first section provides theoretical foundation for the development of economic
collaboration. The second section describes features and mechanisms of the impact
of collaboration on the development of a region or country. The third section is about
prospects for the development of economic cooperation in the Caspian Sea and how
pandemic affects economy of cross-border relations.
